Results for Test #3

With the official testing period for Test #3 now over, 56 students have completed the test. The average (mean) score is 72.2, and the median score is 76 (i.e. half the scores have been above 76). These results are fairly typical for Test #3 which tends to be the most difficult test for students most semester.

Part 6 of the course eases up a bit. It's still about probability, but the procedures are more straightforward, so less effort is spent trying to figure out how to approach a question. Remember that there is no test on Part 6, but Part 6 is heavily covered on the final exam which begins December 8 and which must be completed by December 16.
